The British Heart Foundation is to start a London to Brighton Night Ride in 2012.

It will take place overnight on Saturday, 26 May.

The annual London to Brighton DAYTIME run is held towards the end of June.

This Saturday the Brighton to London Future Car Run leaves from Madeira Drive, and on Sunday the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run arrives in Madeira Drive. You need to be in Madeira Drive very early for the Future Car Challenge. The cars start to leave at 7-30am.

Olympic Torch Will Come To Madeira Drive

The Olympic Torch will reach Brighton on Monday, 16 July, 2012. The two-hour event will be staged in Madeira Drive. Brighton is one of 70 locations across the UK chosen to 'host the torch'. 10,000 to 20,000 people are expected to fill the Drive.

The Torch arrives in the UK from Greece on 18 May, 2012. The Games begin on 27 July.
